Accurate Search Engine Rank Tracking
Checking your site ranking for keyword phrases that you’re targeting is something we all do or should be doing. However not everybody knows how to check a site ranking correctly and more often than not, their seeing false ranking because the results are personalized.
Google has been personalizing search results for a number of years now I believe they first started this in December 2009, so simply opening your browser window and heading over to Google to perform a keyword phrase search isn’t going to give you the real site ranking.
Here are just a few of the reasons why Google and other search engines may personalize your search results.
- You’re signed into a Google related account, for example Gmail, Youtube or Adwords.
- Google may also personalize the results based on your browser cookies and cache files.
- Current IP address, location, country and more.

I’ve been BETA testing Accurank Tracker for the past few weeks and wanted to create a video and share it with you, but I decided to hold off until it was officially released to the public. Accurank Tracker was officially released yesterday so I created a video to show you how it works. It’s currently available for a one-time payment of $27 until this coming Friday. The Accurank Tracker software is super easy to use and you can also set it up to check the ranking of your keyword phrases every day/week/month or even ever X amount of hours. The one feature I personally like is the option to export ranking data into PDF reports. So if you do SEO work for local clients you can send them custom ranking reports for the keyword phrases you’re targeting.
