Are you sure this is correct??!! when you installed wp you added it to the root directory, but because you have created an addon domain I thought it wp needs to be added to that folder??
Arr confused!

I didn't know you could do this, I thought it was a case of one of the other – WordPress or Hostgator or some other hosting company. That's pretty good because I already have a host company so it will be interesting to see if I can install WP on that too.

I've installed it but everytime I try update the new version it gives me an error, is this a WP or OS problem?

Another great video. When I first started using HostGator I avoided using fantastico because the version of WP was usually out of date but since WP added the auto update feature this has been a really quick and easy way to setup a blog.

thanks for posting this video explaining how to install the wordpress I was trying to do it myself but I was very confused in some parts. this video is all explained very well and thanks to him I managed to install thanks for the help and the information you gave really helped me a lot.
